How To Become A Witch?
The human world is a separate universe from the witch world in Magical Doremi. The witch world has only witches in it , no wizards. Witches are a different species from humans. There are two ways to become a witch. Either be born as a witch or become a witch apprentice if you exposed a witch’s identity. Baby witches are born from magical flowers, each baby has a different strength of magic.
The Journey Of The Witch:
When becoming a witch apprentice, they will be provided with a broom and a magical stick which they call a magical instrument, and a magical tab. The broom obviously acts as a transportation tool to fly from one place to another. The magic stick contains small magical balls that help when casting spells. The magical tab changes the regular clothes into a witch apprentice outfit.
The witch frog has to guide the apprentice and teach them all they need to know before their exams. Each apprentice has to go through 9 levels of exams. The 9th level is the lowest and the easiest , the 1st is the highest and the hardest. For some talented witch apprentices, they can advance pretty fast by performing very well and they can skip a few levels.
After completing the ninth exam, the apprentice receives a cute little fairy assistant. In addition, they can perform “Magical Stage”, where 2 or more witch apprentices cast a stronger spell together. With their power combined they can cast magic that is 2 levels higher than their current level.
After passing the seventh exam successfully the witch apprentice will be granted the ability to talk and understand animals and plants.
When successfully passing the sixth exam, the apprentice will have to exchange their most precious musical instrument for a new and improved magic stick. The new one will grant 3 times more powerful spills than the old one. Also, they get a certificate which is a small bottle that they have to fill with magical balls, if filled with eight magical balls they’ll become a witch.
Once the third exam is successfully completed the witch apprentice will obtain a seed of a magical tree that grows magic balls.
After completing all exams successfully the apprentice will become a witch and will be granted a magical crystal. The crystal will act as the magic stick, granting the wishes without needing the magic balls anymore.
The forbidden magic:
There are rules when using magic. The most important rule is to not use forbidden magic. These are the forbidden magic spells:
- Bringing dead people back to life
- Casting a healing spell
- Altering or controlling people’s thoughts
There are consequences for using forbidden magic. If the witch casts a spell to revive a dead person back to life, she will die. If the witch decides to cast a healing spell on an ill person or animal she will get the injury. Finally, if a witch casts magic to alter people’s thoughts she will sleep in a coma that can last for 100 years!
