I always wanted to share my thoughts and I didn’t have friends who shared the same interests as me, so I thought of creating this blog because I love writing and I love anime even more!
I used to have an anime blog back in 2018 and it did not survive because I didn’t have extra income to fund it and didn’t have enough readers to justify the cost. However if you love something passionately you won’t give up on it easily. It was discouraging to see so many anime blogs and streaming websites die in front of me.
I have changed since then and valued my hobbies and interests and I think it’s very important to distinguish between something you enjoy doing for fun and something you do for a living. That was my mistake from the start. I had huge expectations and failed to meet them which led to discouragement and disappointment which led to failure.
I created this blog to motivate anime lovers and passionate writers to have a voice and share their thoughts. I really admire people who share unpopular opinions about certain characters fearlessly. What I find interesting the most is when I read a blog post about an old anime show that everyone forgot about and analyzing and theorizing why certain events happened and why that character acted that way.
There’s a place for everyone, I want to prove that anime blogs are still relevant and can be successful. It’s not too late for us. You don’t have to compete with big bloggers to call yourself an established writer, surely there will be people who appreciate your time and effort and you’ll touch their hearts with your amazing work.
