About (Anime Blogs Are Not Dead) And About Me

I’ve always wanted a space to share my thoughts — but for the longest time, I didn’t have friends who shared the same interests as me. That’s what inspired me to create this blog. I love writing, and I love anime even more!

Back in 2018, I started my first anime blog. Sadly, it didn’t survive because I lacked the extra income to maintain it, and there weren’t enough readers to keep it going. But if you truly love something, you don’t give up on it easily. It was tough watching so many anime blogs and fan sites disappear, but it made me realize how important it is to keep this passion alive.

Since then, I’ve grown and learned to value my hobbies without attaching heavy expectations to them. It’s important to know the difference between what you do for joy and what you do for a living. Back then, I made the mistake of setting huge goals too soon, and when I couldn’t meet them, I felt discouraged and disappointed — which led to giving up. But not anymore.

I created this blog to motivate fellow anime lovers and passionate writers to have a voice and fearlessly share their thoughts. I especially admire people who aren’t afraid to post unpopular opinions about characters or series. The posts I love most are the ones that dive deep into old, forgotten anime shows — analyzing storylines, theorizing character motives, and bringing those hidden gems back into the spotlight.

There’s a place for everyone in the anime community. I want to prove that anime blogs are still alive, relevant, and can thrive in today’s digital world. You don’t need to compete with big-name bloggers to be considered a writer. Your voice matters, your opinions are valid, and there are people out there who’ll appreciate your time, effort, and heart. You might even touch lives with your words.
