I couldn’t share this news earlier because I was facing some health issues but now I am better. Like they always say, it’s better to be late than never. I never thought I would write about this topic but it feels like I have to since I recommended crunchy roll services in my past blog posts. If you haven’t heard about the CrunchyRoll scandal already, get ready to get shocked !

I’m hesitant to share this but we need to spread awareness so that people can make informed decisions when purchasing their online streaming services.

CrunchyRoll has committed a federal crime that lasted for 5 years. Allegedly, a former voice actor who used to work with CrunchyRoll has his mail stolen by CrunchyRoll management.

The are direct allegations from the voice actor himself David Wald who shared on his social media stating that he hasn’t received his private mail while working for CrunchyRoll. Why you might ask?

Simply because CrunchyRoll managers opened David’s private mails, threw away his letters and laid out the items as freebies to other employees in the office.

Unbelievable, we are talking about a huge repeatable institution not a small company that can treat their employees however they want and nobody can do anything about it. Their reputation is on the line!

Apparently, David has set his private PO box to his workplace for privacy reasons. As a voice actor it can be risky to share his address to anyone who wants to send him a package because they will get access to his home address.

For that reason, the head of management at CrunchyRoll violated David’s right by going through his personal mail just because it was addressed to the CrunchyRoll building.

He only found out about this because one sender had a tracking number on the package. Imagine how many packages were lost because they haven’t sent a confirmation email to David asking if he received the package.

This is just one issue among bigger issues that Crunchyroll committed. If you want to hear more about it please watch this video to get more insight regarding this topic.

I am actually grateful for watching this video and I respect people who share their thoughts without fear. I think we should all speak up when we see something unethical to make companies accountable for violating their staff.
